What is Personal Care?

As we age, we may need help because of a disease, normal aging, an injury or fall. This usually means we need assistance with Activities of Daily Living, known as ADL’s. Often with these changes we worry about, “How can I do this?” or, “Can I stay at home or do I have to leave and move into a facility?” . Most of us want to stay in the comfort of our own home. Helping you stay safely at home is our goal. We can help by providing care so you can stay at home. If you do live in a facility we can provide personal individualized care as needed.

Wiser Home Care Service's caregivers are specially trained to help clients with dementia thrive.

Personal care is the most common type of care. Often people recovering from a stroke, surgery or a fall, will need this type of service. Also, many families that have loved ones who are frail, have dementia or a disease such as Parkinson’s, use this type of care. This can be a few days a week or as much as live-in care.
